My Story
For over 15 years, I’ve worked in the nonprofit sector, experiencing both the power of inspiring leadership and the cost of ineffective leadership. I’ve seen leaders lift people up, creating environments where teams thrived and communities benefited. I’ve also witnessed leadership that drained passion, stifled creativity, and created toxic work cultures. At one point, I was even told, “You’re not ready for leadership,” when in reality, I had simply outgrown a space where the leadership above me wasn’t equipped to navigate meaningful change. That moment became a turning point, showing me how much organizational health depends on strong, people-centered leadership—and how often it’s overlooked.
That’s why I founded Success Beyond Metrics: to help leaders, teams, youth-serving professionals, and young people go beyond the numbers. My work focuses on building emotional intelligence, leadership effectiveness, and the people skills that transform teams, improve performance, and create sustainable growth.
